This cookie policy explains how joinalyse.com uses cookies and similar technologies. It complements our Privacy Statement, which describes how we handle personal data more broadly.

2. How we ask for your consent

The first time you visit joinalyse.com you are shown a cookie banner. You can:

Reject non-essential cookies and still use the site normally.
Customise your choice per category.
Strictly necessary cookies do not require consent and cannot be turned off, because the site cannot function without them. You can change your choice at any time via the “Cookie settings” link in the footer.

3. Categories of cookies we use

3.1 Strictly necessary

Essential for the site to function: maintaining your session, remembering your cookie consent, protecting forms against abuse (CSRF), and load-balancing.

  • gforms_* — form anti-spam and submission state. Set by joinalyse.com (first-party). Retained for the session only.
  • wordpress_*, wp-settings-* — login session and admin preferences. Set by joinalyse.com (first-party). Retained for the session, up to 1 year.
  • cookie_consent — stores your cookie banner choice. Set by joinalyse.com (first-party). Retained for 12 months.

3.2 Analytics

Help us understand how visitors use the site so we can improve it. Set only after you give consent.

  • _sstr_* — first-party, server-side analytics. Processed first-party for joinalyse.com via SSTr.nl. Retained up to 12 months.
  • _ga, _ga_* — Google Analytics 4: page views, sessions, traffic sources. Set by Google Ireland Ltd. Retained up to 14 months.

3.3 Marketing and advertising

Used to measure the effectiveness of our advertising and to show you relevant ads on other platforms. Set only after you give consent.

  • _fbp, _fbc — Meta Pixel: ad attribution and retargeting on Facebook / Instagram. Set by Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. Retained up to 90 days.
  • _gcl_*, IDE — Google Ads: conversion tracking and remarketing. Set by Google Ireland Ltd. Retained up to 13 months.
  • MUID, _uetsid, _uetvid — Microsoft Bing Ads: conversion tracking. Set by Microsoft Ireland Operations Ltd. Retained up to 13 months.
  • li_*, bcookie, lidc — LinkedIn Insight Tag: campaign attribution and B2B retargeting. Set by LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company. Retained up to 24 months.

3.4 Error tracking

When the site experiences a technical error, a small set of contextual data is sent to our self-hosted error-tracking system (GlitchTip on errors.joinalyse.com). This is not a cookie in the strict sense — it is a one-off transmission triggered by exceptions — but is mentioned here for full transparency. It may incidentally contain personally identifiable information (e.g. your IP address or content from a form). See §2.2 of our Privacy statement for more.

4. Third parties

Where third-party cookies are set, those parties act as independent controllers for the data they receive. Their processing is governed by their own privacy policies:
